ESD Diamond coated tweezers
The anti-magnetic precision tweezers with ESD-safe diamond coating offer excellent characteristics of hardness and elasticity: ideal for handling hard materials and critical components in several industry, Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coated tweezers are realised with the deposition of carbon clusters able to develop an amorphous tetrahedral structure featuring many properties of the diamonds.
The DLC coating is applied with an innovative plasma-assisted technique. The cutting edges retain their shape over time, and the extreme resistance to corrosion and wear ensure a long lifespan to the precision tool..
The non-toxic nature and the biological compatibility of diamond coated tweezers are optimal pre-conditions for the use of in medical and biological applications, as well as in clean room environments: humidity and corrosion resistant, chemically stable and inert up to 350°C, the diamond coating also prevents contamination of biological tissue with metal particles.
