Boley Tweezers

Boley tweezers are general purpose precision tools available in different materials for specific applications in Life Science&Microscopy sector. Ideal-tek offers a line of sturdy and versatile Boley tweezers.
Boley Tweezers made of Carbon steel type C containing about 0,57-0,65 wt% carbon, are magnetisable and have scarce resistance to corrosion. The pure nickel coating deposited by electroplating technique improves its resistance and mechanical properties.
Hard and elastic, the nickel coating offers a very good resistance to mechanical stress, improved resistance to wear and abrasion, superior ageing and oxidation resistance, superior corrosion resistance to saltwater, alkalies and organic acids. With their tapered shanks and beveled edges, Boley tweezers are successfully employed where strength and/or hardness are of primary concern. Typical applications include assembling and positioning of small parts, close-range work and laboratory applications in Life Science&Microscopy field work.
