PTFE coated tweezers

Tweezers coated with PTFE (a material equivalent to Teflon®) are recommended to handle fragile specimen material in the Medical Device industry. PTFE is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene consisting wholly of carbon and fluorine. Hydrophobic, nonreactive and able to maintain high strength, toughness and self-lubrication at low temperatures, and good flexibility at very low temperatures, PTFE has numerous applications.
Thanks to its thermal properties, PTFE is ideal to make precision tools for cryo-critical work: the PTFE coating reduces heat during the process and lessens the corrosive action of acids and bases on the tips. Our line of PTFE coated tweezers includes many models for different applications in medical device industry: with straight, curved, smooth or sharp tips, PTFE coated tweezers are also available with serrated handles and with wafer tips.
