Type 5TTHX reverse action tweezers are suitable to applications which require holding a flat component firmly. Reverse action helps to hold the component firmly in a resting position. The particular shape of its tips prevents capillary effect, avoiding the possible upwards flow of liquid along the tweezer tips. The coating of 2-microns thickness, made of pure 24-carat gold plating, provides excellent scratch resistance and makes them particularly suitable for handling nickel grids in immuno-gold work. The tweezers exhibit remarkable durability under high-volume autoclaving conditions, and the gold plating enhances their resistance to chemical corrosion, oxidation, and electrical conductivity.
